This graveyard is located on the Addie Curd farm near Burgin, KY where the Old Bowman Station was located.
In 1779 Colonel Johannes Bowman erected a small fort at Bowman Station and by the Fall of 1779 over 30 families had settled there. This fortified Bowman Station was located 6 miles east of Harrodsburg near the Dick's River. The graveyard was restored in 1969. The stone info was copied on Nov 4, 1964 by members of the Harrodsburg Historical Society.
