Dick Sutherland (born Archibald Thomas Johnson, December 23, 1881February 3, 1934) was an American film actor, mostly during the silent film era.

Sutherland was born in Benton, Kentucky December 23, 1881. He was a tough-looking, craggy-faced supporting performer who appeared in over 75 films from 1921 to 1932. Some of his best known roles were as Hobo in "Grandma's Boy" (1922), the Shriek in "The Shriek of Araby" (1923) and as Sambo in "Uncle Tom's Cabin" (1927). His other credits included "A Sailor Made Man" (1921), "Quicksands" (1923), ‘Jimmie's Millions" (1925), "Don Juan" (1926) and "The Hoosegow" (1929). His distinctive facial features were a result of acromegaly.

Sutherland died in Hollywood, California February 3, 1934, from a heart attack, at the age of 52. He is interred at Inglewood Park Cemetery.
